"The Lovers" is a painting by Renè Magritte from 1928, considered among the most beautiful of Surrealism. A painting in which the lovers are close, but divided by a veil that makes them blind. A sort of wall that distances, despite the proximity. One of the greatest masterpieces of the painter who changed the history of art forever, telling in this work the impossibility of love.
Its dark but hopeful colors and its deep meaning have inspired us to create THE WORLD'S FIRST STONE NECKLACE inspired by Magritte's "The Lovers". A Tibetan Mala style necklace handcrafted with Agate stones in various colors, Yellow Jasper, Blue Lapis Lazuli, Black Onyx, Amber, Freshwater Pearls and Coral Paste with a Pearl Gray tassel and a 316L Steel tag with an engraved depiction of the painting.
